A New Minnesota Craft Cannabis Farm

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

We are bringing the wealth of land-based knowledge in this century family farm (est. 1878) to Minnesota's new recreational market!

A cutting edge mixed-light greenhouse facility, along with outdoor cultivation, a 35 acre tallgrass prairie campus, well-draining sandy loam soils, botanical companion plants, and sunlight for days make this an ideal location.

We are using a phased approach to our cultivation build out that we hope others can replicate across the state on similar agricultural plots.

Conservation

Our sustainability initiatives focus on promoting eco-friendly farming practices that conserve resources and protect the environment. We aim to equip farmers with the tools and knowledge to implement sustainable methods, ultimately leading to healthier ecosystems and increased productivity.

This facility is designed to use minimal non-renewable energy sources by optimizing lighting, heating, cooling, and dehumidification.

Our unique soil-based solutions for outdoor and greenhouse cultivation of both photoperiod and autoflower varieties builds on over a hundred years learning the soil of this century farm.

Craft

As any good Minnesotan knows, our seasons are what make us unique.  With each of those comes a new pulse of plant and animal life, creating a never-ending cycle of color and bloom.

We aim to grow 100% craft cannabis under the power of the midwest sun.  That means leaning into those blooms and seasons by sowing companion plants alongside our cannabis.  This in turn attracts beneficial insects and pollinators, resulting in a botanical flavor profile that is unique to the plant's outdoor seasonal life cycle.

Community

Connected people make strong communities and healthy crops.  We believe all 3 are needed for a resilient farm, no matter what’s in the ground.  That's why we focus on a many-hands approach to our harvest and operation.

Community-building and education are at the core of our philosophy. We host seasonal workshops designed to share valuable knowledge and enhance the skills of farmers in our community. We also hope that these models can promote a new profitable craft-scale cannabis culture to Minnesota's agricultural lands.
